Ramanchuk puts off wedding until next year due to elections
A presidential contender Yaraslau Ramanchuk has decided to ignore the order of members of the United Civil Party and to get married with his darling Alesya after the presidential elections. The politician has confessed to ERB that he will do it to avoid being accused of “cheap PR”.
Ramanchuk: “The party’s order – it was such a joke some journalists took seriously. My attitude to it is very serious and I am not going to joke about it, so I will do it next year after the presidential elections. If I did it now, everyone would say “Look! Ramanchuk is a speculator; he is speculating on such a thing as family, he will do everything to draw attention”. That is why we have decided to do it after everything is over”.
According to him, putting off the wedding until the next year is Alesya’s decision too. Ramanchuk has even told us the approximate date of the wedding.
Ramanchuk: “It would be better to get married being the second President of Belarus. It will be a national event and we will be able to attend the ceremony in April”.
He has also invited ERB to attend this event.
