Ramming crane burned at Minsk railway, its driver died
A ramming crane set on fire in close proximity of the Arlouskaya and Tsimirazeva Streets croassroads, where the third railway Minsk-Zhdanovichy was under construction, informs Belteleradiocompany. According to the preliminary version, the machine was moving backwards and touched the contact conductor with its boom. The voltage of the conductor is 110 kV. The crane driver died at the spot, and the crane set on fire. The rescuers had to wait till the electricity was turned down in order to extinguish the fire.
