14 illegal immigrants caught by Belarusian frontier guards this weekend
Natives of Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Georgia and Turkey tried to get to a better world through Belarus.
The press-center of the Belarusian State Frontier Committee has informed to BelaPAN that Hrodna frontier guards caught 14 people at a time on Saturday-Sunday. The Vietnamese were caught not far from Hrodna, 3 Sri Lanka citizens - near the village Halynka, 3 Georgians - in the Astravets district. Another offender, a Turk, was found hiding in a truck at a border-crossing point Beniakoni. He knew neither English nor Russian and failed to explain to Belarusians where he was going and why he did it in such a guerilla way.
