Adrzej Poczobut nominated for an award by famous Polish radio "TOK FM"

The correspondednt of "Gazeta Wyborcza" in Belarus was nominated "for not letting to forget that dictatorship in Belarus is a disgrace for Europe". He was also considered to deserve this award because "he reminds that the main mission of a journalist is to convey the truth, sometimes for a very high price".

A politician Michal Bani was also nominated for "TOK FM" award for "being tactful in organization of mournful events after the Smalensk tragedy". Another nominee - Copernicus Center in Warsaw, the place where people can participate in science recognition.

Editors of Polish media, directors of museums and scientists are in the jury. The results will be announced on June 11, informs the web-site of the TOK FM.

Let us remind you, journalist Andrzej Poczobut is in custody now. He faces 2-4 years of imprisonment for publications in the Internet, which the authorities considered a slander and insult of the President.
