An album "Press-Photo of Belarus-2010" to be presented today
The winners of the first independent contest "Press-Photo of Belarus-2010" will present their album in Minsk art-gallery "Ў" at 19.00 on March 3.
The photo-album "Press-Photo of Belarus-2010" has been published by the Lithuanian publishing company "Arx Baltica".
96 photographers, who represent both state and independent media, took part in the contest "Press-Photo of Belarus-2010". The majority of the winners live and work in Minsk, but there are also representatives of regional cities.
"The album which you are holding in your hands is the result of the first contest of professional photographers, who work in the media, a sort of a survey of the Belarusian photographers' professionalism", — the organizers of the contest say in their statement. They plan to conduct this contest annually,"Nasha Niva" informs.
