Alyaksandr Lukashenka: Constitution strengthened democratic principles
The President has congratulated Belarusians on the Constitution Day. It was adopted by the Supreme Council on March 15, 1994.
The Constitution has become a guideline for successful social and political changes, Alyaksandr Lukashenka noted.
"The adoption of the Fundamental Law is one of the most important events in the modern history of the Belarusian people," BelTA reports quoting the state leader. "The Constitution did not only strengthen the state sovereignty of Belarus and democratic principles, it also denoted the further development of the country."
