Alyaksandr Valantsevich to stand trial today
He was detained during the action of solidarity with political prisoners on Friday.
Alyaksandr Valantsevich addressed the present with the help of a loudspeaker during the action. He urged them to come to the next action in October Square on October 24. Valantsevich was detained and dragged into a minibus several seconds afterwards.
The activist went on hunger-strike in protest against his illegal imprisonment in the detention centre. Alyaksandr Valantsevich’s trial will take place in Minsk Central Court today. It will start at 10 a.m.
