"Blacklisted" judge arrests Mikhail Lebedz for 12 days
Mikhail claimed in court that the policemen had fabricated the protocol but no one paid attention to that.
The Maskouski district court of Minsk sentenced Mikhail Lebedz to 12 days of administrative detention. He was accused in participation in a non-sanctioned picket, which was conducted by the activists of youth organizations on December 20 at the Independence Square in solidarity with the December 19 detainees, "Narodnaya Volya" informs.
Mikhail Lebedz was detained on his way to the Red Catholic Church on December 20. The policemen knocked him down, hit him several times with a baton and dragged to the police van by the legs.
Let us remind you, Mikhail Lebedz did not participate in the December 19 action. He didn't know about the solidarity action appointed on December 20 either. Despite all this, he was brutally arrested and charges for participation in a non-sanctioned action were made against him, although he was beaten and lost consciousness from time to time. Moreover, they kept him in the police department for about 6 hours, took photographs and fingerprints, but did not call the ambulance.
The judge of the Maskouski district court of Minsk Jauhen Khatkevich considered Mikhail Lebedz's case.
