Court to consider "Nasha Niva's" complaint today
The hearing will start at 14.30 in the Supreme Economic Court.
Let us remind you, the Ministry of Information warned the newspaper for publication of "not precise information". The newspaper wrote that one of the victims of April 11 terrorist act had allegedly stayed at the "Kastrychnitskaya" metro station till late at night.
In the Ministry's opinion, dissemination of such information damages public interests, discredits state authorities and rescuing and medical services, which assisted the victims.
The editor's office appealed to summon a linguist to the court, who would define whether the publication "A girl was lying under the rubble while Lukashenka was putting flowers" could have damaged public interests. However, the judge Alena Mayorava decided that linguists were not authorised to give explanations in this regard.
