Inflation reached 25% in six months in Belarus
Our country occupies the first position in the consumer price increase rating of the first five months of the year among the other post-Soviet states.
The analysis of national statistic institutions conducted by BelaPAN testifies to it. The prices in our country have increased by 25% in 2011. It is followed by Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Armenia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Russia, Latvia, Azerbaijan, Lithuania and Estonia. Consumer prices in these states have not increased by more than 7%. At the same time, the prices in Belarusian shops increased by 13% only in May.
