Journalist Andrzej Pachobut detained in Hrodna
The reporter of Polish “Gazeta Wyborcza” had been going to visit Minsk to take part in a video conference with MEPs.
He was supposed to describe his persecution by the Belarusian authorities during the video conference. On the evening of April 6 Pachobut informed that he had been detained and delivered to the Regional Office of the Public Prosecutor. He received a subpoena and will be interrogated on April 7.
The journalist claimed that he was ready to come any other day but that one. It turned out that Pahobut was detained again 15 minutes later, informs BelaPAN referring to “Gazeta Wyborcza”.
The reporter’s cell phones are switched off. Let us remind you that a criminal case for insult of the President (article 386 of the Criminal Code) was started against Andrzej Pachobut not long ago.
