Minsk terrorist does not resemble photo-fit

According to the “Kommersant” newspaper, the prime suspect’s photo-fit does not look like the real criminal who left a bag with explosives at “October” station.

According to a source that studied the videos made by observation cameras, the person who put the bag under a bench at the metro station “does not look like a Caucasian”. “There is stubble on the man’s face in the photo-fit and the owner of the bag does not have it. He is not swarthy, he looks more like a Slav or European”, - says the source.
"He approached the bench calmly and put the bag under it. He was not in a hurry. It was clear that the bag was heavy. Then he left quietly”, - noted the interlocutor.

Speaking about the rumour that witnesses recognized “a Caucasian” at “October” station, another source in the police supposed that “people had probably seen a southerner at that moment and suspected him”.

The Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs and KGB interrogated a few hundred witnesses in the last two days. They interrogated people who were in the metro at the moment of the blast and even those who commented on it in social networks or gave comments to journalists. The interrogations took from 30 minutes to an hour.
