Poland's Sejm to adopt resolution on Belarus on February 25
"We strongly demand that all detainees should be released immediately and that politial repressions should be stopped", — stated in the draft resolution.
The draft resolution has been agreed with the Sejm's Presidium and is expected to be adopted without voting.
The draft resolution says about the Sejm's solidarity with those who struggle for a democratic future in Belarus: "You will never be alone in your struggle. The Sejm strongly stands for diplomatic sanctions and also for provision all the opportunitites to the citizens of Belarus which the EU can give".
The resolution calls on the EU's countries' parliaments and the European Parliament to take real actions aimed at support of the Belarusian civil society.
