Several thousand Minsk Catholics take part in Corpus Christi procession
The eucharistic procession took place on Sunday.
It started with the Holy Mass near the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, also known as the St. Roch Catholic Church. After this, the procession moved along the Independence Avenue to the Victory Square where the first prayer took place. The next altar was installed at the Kastrychnitskaya Square, and then the procession arrived to St. Symon and Alena Catholic Church. The event finished near the Holy Mother of Christ Cathedral,TUT.by infroms.
Let us remind you, the city authorities did not permit the spiritual procession to go along Minsk's main avenue at first. They only permitted moving along the side streets. However, the Catholics managed to obtain the official permit to move along the Independence Avenue on Saturday.
