Shakira cancels concert in Belarus?
The organizers refute this information and claim that the concert will take place.
Columbian pop-star Shakira allegedly got frightened by the political situation in Belarus, thus she decided to cancel her concert in Minsk, which was scheduled on May 11, to be safe. The show has been postponed till uncertain time, until the political fuss soothes, "MUZ.RU" has informed with a reference to the British newspaper "The Independent". There is, indeed, an article about the action of protest against repressions in Belarus, which took place in London yesterday, but not a word about Shakira, in today's issue. The original, on which the Russian web-site could have based its article, is probably the publication at contactmusic.com, which appeared back on March 26. However, it is about the appeal to Shakira to cancel her concert in Minsk.
The organizers of the concert claim that the information about the cancel is false. 12 thousand tickets have been sold by now, the organizers claim. Shakira has broked the record on tickets sales in Belarus.
