"Struggle for Ukraine" book presented in Minsk
The book "Struggle for Ukraine, 1917-1921" by a famous Belarusian historian Anatol Hrytskevich has been presented in Minsk.
The book presents an illustrated research from the series "Unknown History". It was published by Minsk publishing company "Modern School".
The author declares national-democratic positions, and moderate anti-communism. In this book he analyzed the events of the Ukrainian history of 1917-1921, including the sharp political struggle between numerous parties and a series of interventions. Ukraine then survived intervetion of Germany, Austria-Hungary, Antanta and Soviet Russia. The research also contains information about the guerilla-insurgent movement in Ukraine, which struggled against all occupants, BelaPAN reports.
