Trial against Poczobut to be continued today
It started on June 14.
Hearing on the case of "Gazeta Wyborcza's" journalist Andrzej Poczobut will be resumed today at 10.00 in the Lenin district court of Hrodna. He is accused of insulting the honour and dignity of President Lukashenka, as well as of slander against the latter. The journalist has been in custody for three months already. The public prosecutor asked for 3 years of imprisonment in a colony.
Poczobut's lawyers and human rights defenders do not exclude that today may become the last day of trial.
