Trial on Kanavalau-Kavalyou case resumed
Uladzislau Kavalyou claimed once again yesterday that he had slandered Dzmitry Kanavalau.
The trial against Dzmitry Kanavalau and Uladzislau Kavalyou will be resumed today in the House of Justice in Minsk. At yesterday's trial, during the interrogation of Uladzislau Kavalyou who is suspected in having committed the blast in the Minsk metro together with Dzmitry Kanavalau, it turned out that the major part of his testimony had been prompted by the investigators. According to him, they only committed the blasts in the entrance of the house and in the library in 2000-2002 in Vitsebsk. The details of other blasts were informed to the youngster in the KGB detention center during the interrogation.
Also, Kavalyou confessed that he had no precise information about Kanavalau being connected with the blasts in Vitsebsk in 2005 and in the Peramozhtsau Ave in Minsk in 2008. As for his statement that he had proofs of Kanavalau's preparation to the blast in 2005, he called it a slander against his friend.
Interrogation of Uladzislau Kavalyou will be resumed today.
