UN accuses Belarus of violating international agreements
The reason for it is the execution of two people. Their cases were under advisement.
The United Nations Human Rights Committee has noted that it was Belarus’ second violation of the kind in the past two years. The executed did not have a chance to stand fair trial witch violated the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
The exact date of the execution is unknown but it occurred between July 13 and 19, informs Radio Liberty.
“Evening Grodno” informed about the execution of Aleh Hryshkautsou and Andrei Burdyka on July 20.
