Let us remind you that Kapustsinki was born in Pinsk and lived there for 7 years. The love of the city persisted through all his life. However, his name was forgotten in his motherland for a long time and Pinskers understood that they were compatriots of a famous author only in the middle of the 90s. Kaputstinkis’ house was restored in Pinsk and his books and verses started being translated into Belarusian.
