Russia positive over Belarus' appeal to CIS economic court on oil supplies
Russia has responded positively to the fact that Belarus filed a complaint with the CIS Economic Court to settle the ongoing row over export duties for the Russian oil, reports the Russian newspaper Vremya Novostey, quoting a source in the Kremlin. The Kremlin source described the move as a good example of resolving interstate issues in a civilized manner not using pressue or black PR, reports Belapan. At the same time, the source reckons that bilateral talks on this issue would have led to a faster result, as the complaint can be studied for up to six months.
