Russia says Belarus keeps Russian goods away from market

Russia's Ministry of Economic Development has sent a note to the Belarusian foreign ministry, listing the measures which block access to the Belarusian market for Russian goods. The note contains a list of 23 measures enacted in Belarus, reports Interfax. Russian maintains that the replacement of import quotas for tobacco, fish, seafood and alcohol with the institute of a special importer means quantative restrictions and thus runs in conflict with the principles of free trade.

The Russian Ministry of Economic Development says that Russian producers do not enjoy equal opportunities, regarding their participation in the state orders in Belarus.
