"Russian Border" to check border custom houses in Kazakhstan and Belarus
The Customs Union Commission has entrusted the Russian federal state border agency (“Russian Border”) to check custom houses situated on the borders of Kazakhstan and Belarus with other countries. Check-ups will be conducted with the help of Kazakhstani and Belarusian experts in March. Experts of “Russian Border” will analyze the technical equipment, technological possibilities and check-points’ hardware and software, notes “Interfax”.
According to the customs plan approved in September 2009, custom registration of goods imported to Russia from Belarus and Kazakhstan will be cancelled on July 1, 2010 on condition that the single Customs Code is introduced.
