Russian club Zenit wins UEFA Cup
Zenit St Petersburg on May 14 won UEFA Cup by defeating Scottish club Rangers Glasgow 2:0 in the final at the English city of Manchester. The goals were scored by Igor Denisov on 72 minutes and Konstantsin Zyryanov on 90 minutes. This is the second Russian team to win UEFA Cup in four seasons after CSKA Moscow picked the trophy in 2005.
