Russian president visits Abkhazia
Russian president Dmitry Medvedev paid a visit to Abkhazia for the first time since it broke away from Georgia after the August 2008 war. Medvedev held talks with president Sergei Bagapsh. He said Russia would keep developing relations with Abkhazia, including security of the the republic, reports Radio Svaboda.
