Schengen visa cost may be lowered to 35 euro for Belarusians
The cost of Schengen visas for Belarusians may be lowered to 35 euro (now our citizens pay 60 euro). The European Commission chargé d'affaires pro tempore in Belarus Jean-Eric Holzapfel does not exclude this possibility.
According to the diplomat, if Belarus becomes a full member of the European policy of good- neighbourly relations, it may lead to an agreement on reduction of the cost of Schengen visas.
Jean-Eric Holzapfel has stressed that the final purpose of the cooperation of Belarus and the EU within “Eastern Partnership” is complete cancellation of the visa regime for Belarusians, reports BelTA.
