Search for tourists covered by avalanche in Murmansk is resumed

The search for Belarusian tourists who got covered with an avalanche in Murmansk Region has been resumed this morning, on March 11, reports RIA “Novosti”. The search was suspended on the evening of March 10 when it became dark. Let us remind you that a group of Belarusian tourists set off on March 3. An avalanche descended to the Northern Tavayok pass and covered four of the six members of the group. Two people managed to escape.

As ERB informed, rescuers did not use dogs to search for the Belarusian tourists as it was pointless.

The search has been resumed today, on Thursday morning. Four more people and a snowmobile “Buran” are involved in it.
