Several dozen people killed by two blasts in Moscow subway
Two blasts have occurred in Moscow subway this morning, on March 29. The first explosion occurred at an underground station “Lubyanka” and the second one – at “Culture Park”. According to the preliminary information, about 30 or 40 people have died. RIA “Novosti” informs that the power of the blast in “Lubyanka” totaled 2 kilos of TNT. Investigators say that the blasting assembly was activated by a suicide terrorist.
Firemen and rescuers and more than a dozen ambulances are working in the site now. Vehicular traffic has been partially blocked in connection with the blasts in the centre of Moscow.
