Several rare weapons and ammunition confiscated in Brest

Several rare weapons and ammunition have been confiscated from a flat and basement of a block of flats in Brest, informs the Belarusian State Broadcasting Company. Their owner is a military history amateur, a 50-year-old jobless inhabitant for the regional centre. Investigators have found out that the so-called “black digger” organized unauthorized archaeological digs in battlefields of the WWII for a long time.

Weapons dating back to the WWII and a four-charge gun produced at the beginning of the 19th century were confiscated from him. He also had a personnel mine and three hand grenades in the arsenal.
