Sidorski: Get through with liberalization this year

Prime Minister Syarhey Sidorski urged his cabinet to complete “the modernization and liberalization of the Belarusian economy” in 2008.

While speaking at a meeting of the Council of Ministers on December 9, the premier said that the task had been set by Alyaksandr Lukashenka. “This is a strategic task, with less than 20 days left for its fulfillment. All of you are participants of the fulfillment of this program,” the BelTA news agency quoted him as saying.
