Situation in Belarus hampers cooperation with EU in the field of energy safety
“We are interested in issues of energy safety but unfortunately the situation in Belarus does not allow us to cooperate with the country in this field”, - claimed the EU foreign and security policy representative Xavier Solana in his interview to a Ukrainian magazine “Weekly mirror”. According to him, the European Union is keeping an eye on Belarus-Russia relations in the oil and gas sphere.
