The global financial and economic
crisis has undermined finances of Belarus' soccer clubs. Henadz
Nyavyhlas, chairman of the Belarusian Soccer Federation, said that club budgets
have been cut by 20 percent on the average. Players' salaries are likely to be
reduced. Nyavihlas stressed the need for economizing public funds during the
crisis, BelaPAN reported.
