Social Democrats in Brest launch campaign for Kozulin's release

The Social Democrats in Brest have launched a campaign for the release of political prisoner Alexander Kozulin, the chairman of the Belarusian Social Democratic Party (Hramada).  The local activists yesterday filed an application with the city hall seeking permission to stage a picket on March 14 at the Lokomotiv stadium, reports Belapan.

The Social Democrats aims to demand the release of their leader and will try to draw the attention of the public to the human rights violations in this country.

The party activists will file similar applications on a daily basis across the country.
