'Solidarity with Belarus' under doubt over lack of money
The organizers of the Warsaw-based concert 'Solidarity with Belarus', held annually beginning from 2006, have appealed to members of the public, asking to donate money for the gig. They lack around $2700. If the money is not raised, the concert will have to be canceled, Free Belarus said in a statement. Euroradio reported earlier that after the Polish Television refused to tape and broadcast the concert, teh event lost a significant part of the funding. As a result, only those musicians who agreed to come and play for free were invited to participate.
