Solidarity Day to be marked regardless of signature collection
An activist of “European Belarus” Yauhen Afnahel has informed ERB about it. According to him, activists of the civil initiative are busy collecting signatures for Andrei Sannikau now. Nevertheless, the action will take place as usual - on the 16th day of the month: Afnahel: "Information materials will be distributed. The tomorrow’s Solidarity Day will be dedicated to missing politicians and political prisoners, in the first place - to Mikalai Autuhovich.”
The election campaign seems to have overshadowed other dates and events. Nevertheless, the head of the steering committee of the BCD Pavel Sevyarynets has noted that he will take part in the Solidarity day. But the BCD will not organize a separate action for the same reason – they are collecting signatures.
