Special police troops try to derange picket allowed by Minsk authorities
Special police troops in plain clothes tried to derange a picket in support of a political prisoner Alyaksandr Kazulin although it had been allowed by Minsk authorities. The action took place in Arlouskaya Street on the evening of October 24. Cars with strangers arrived (it must have been special police troops). They claimed that “the action was unauthorized” and took away a great transparent with the inscription “Release Alyaksandr Kazulin! Presidential candidate imprisoned for 5 and a half years”.
A first sergeant in uniform was watching their actions. The transparent was returned later.
Let us remind you that the picket’s participants were collecting signatures for the appeal to Alyaksandr Lukashenka. They think that the prosecution of Kazulin is politically reasoned and that the imprisonment of a former presidential candidate is illegal.
