Specialist in Belarusian affairs to head Freedom House

David Kramer will become the new executive director of an American non-governmental organization Freedom House, reports “Gazeta.ru”.
Kramer served as Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor from 2008 to 2009. He previously served for three years as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, focusing on Russia, Moldova and Belarus.
