Supermarkets banned from selling alcohol to workers in Minsk

Supermarkets in the Pershamajski district of Minsk will be banned effective from June 1, 2007 from selling alcohol drinks, including beers at the night hours, according to a measure by the district authorities.
Besides, groceries that are located in the vicinity of large industrial enterprises will be banned from selling beers, wine and vodka to the people dressed in worker overalls. The supermarkets that will be caught sellinng alcohol to minors will be deprived of their trade licenses, according to Minsk-Naviny news agency.
