Supreme Court denies registration to Malady Front

The Supreme Court of Belarus on Monday reviewed the appeal filed by Malady Front, a youth pressure group, against the justice department at Minsk City Hall, which had twice rejected registration applications from the organization. "The court upheld the ruling by the Minsk City Court to reject the appeal. The only difference is that the Supreme Court revoked court fees paid by Malady Front twice,” human rights lawyer Yury Chavusau told the European Radio for Belarus.

The Minsk City Court rejected Malady Front's appeal in August.

"In this situation, members of the youth organizations should file a new application for registration and make this process continueous", Chavusau suggests.
