Swiss company to invest over 5 mln euro in black caviar in Belarus

A Swiss company is set to invest over 5 million euros into production of black caviar in Belarus, reports the Belarusian state TV. A sturgeon-growing factory is expected to appear in Ratamka near Minsk in the next three years. Two fishing farms in Salihorsk and Maldzechna districts currently raise sturgeon in Belarus, but they are yet to learn how to produce black caviar.

The delicacy has been imported from Russia so far, with 100 grans costing $150-200. The black caviar from Belarus will cost as twice as less, according to experts' estimates.
