Syamahska: Two power units for Belarusian NPP may be bought in China
Belarus expects to get a project of the NPP construction contract from a Russian corporation “Rosatom” soon.
The senior deputy Prime Minister Uladzimir Syamashka claimed it making a speech in Parliament.
Speaking about the power unit, the deputy head of the government noted that the Russian unit was generation “3+”. It is a unit having a passive and active defence system. At the moment there are a dozen and a half units of the kind functioning in the world and they are considered to be safe.
At the same time, the vice Prime Minister did not exclude that the third and the fourth power units of the future NPP could be bought in China, informs “Interfax-West”.
