Talking cell phones to be given to the blind in Brest Region

33 blind people living in Brest Region will get special cell phones within the next few days. The software installed in the cell phones will be able to generate speech. A user of such a phone will get all the information displayed on the screen read aloud. It includes navigation, reading e-mails, date, time and it will tell them whether the battery is discharged. A blind person will be able to read e-books or publications and tune the phone with the help of the software.
