Test census begins in Maladzechna district

A test census has begun in Maladzechna district, Minsk region, Belarus's Statistics Ministry said in a statement.
The census will take place until October 20. 2 census stations, 13 training stations and 70 counting stations are open as part of the test, reports Interfax.

The drill census is expected to cover over 21,000 people.

The census aims to collect the data that will help adjust the national census program to be tabled at the government by July 1, 2008. The next national census will take place in Belarus on October 14-24, 2009.
