Trade union boss claims success in fighting black wages

Salaries paid off the books do not account for more than five percent of the payroll, said Leanid Kozik, leader of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus (FTUB).
He said the FTUB launched an awareness campaign against black wages four years ago. "It produced a result. Most people get  paid and prefer legal wages because they need social guarantees."

He slammed small businesses for paying salaries under the table.
