Triple Co. refuses to build biathlon route in Sochi due to 'oil war'?

The Belarusian construction company Triple has backed off from plans to build a biathlon complex in the Russian Black Sea resort city of Sochi for the Winter Olympic Games 2014, reports the Russian newspaper Vedomosti quoting sources in Gazprom and Sochi-2014 organizing committee. Gazeta.ru reports that Triple is a company that is close to the Belarusian leadership and has refused from the project due to political motives over the oil supplies dispute between Russia and Belarus. This move has forced Gazprom to face the situation when it will have to combine a skiing route with a bialthlon route.
