Two-day EU summit starts in Brussels today
Financial problems of a number of the eurozone states will be the main point on the agenda.
Besides Greece that is already receiving financial assistance from the European Union and the International Monetary Fund, and Ireland, whose parliament approved the necessity to receive the assistance not long ago, Spain and Portugal are facing serious difficulties.
The Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel expressed confidence of the euro stability and of the fact that the European Union would be able to help any of its member states before the meeting of the EU leaders,informs UNIAN.NET.
