Two former KGB officers imprisoned for fraud and graft

The military college of Belarus's Supreme Court has sentenced two former colonels of the state security committee (KGB) to lengthy prison terms for fraud, office abuse and graft, reports Interfax.
Mikhail Mikhalap, the former chief of organized crime task force at the KGB was sentenced to 8 years in prison. Alexander Miatselitsa, the former head of human resources and ideoloigy at the KGB, received 6 years of imprisonment. The two were also stripped of their colonel ranks.
