Two new mines to be built by “Belaruskalii”
The “Belaruskalii” association started the construction of two new mines in Byaroza on April 11.
The head of Minsk Region Executive Committee Leanid Krupets took part in the festive ceremony. The mines will be more than 600 metres deep. By calculations, more than 6 million tons of minerals will be extracted every year. The ore will be sent to a concentration plant with the help of an 11-kilometre conveyor. Part of it will be built across Salihrosk storage pond. The construction has already started there.
The whole project will cost about 400 million USD.
