UEFA to start selling Euro-2012 media rights soon
UEFA has started registering companies interested in buying media rights for broadcasting matches of Euro-2012. Let us remind you that the championship will be conducted by Ukraine and Poland.
The registration will finish on January 20, 2009. The European football union is sure that the profit made on media rights at Euro-2012 will not be less than in 2008.
The profit made at the European championship in Austria and Switzerland this summer was 1.3 billion euro. 750 millions was made on media rights for broadcasting matches on TV, on the Internet and on cell phones.
