Ukrainian journalists protest against censorship
A movement “Stop Censorship!” has urged Ukrainian journalists to go on a national strike, reports Radio Liberty. Three Ukrainian TV channels went on an hour strike before it. Activists of the movement also addressed the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe earlier. They asked to draw the attention of the Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovich to the worsening situation of the freedom of speech in the country.
